About Catie Brooks
Catie Brooks is a voice teacher, vocalist, actor, and stage director in the Arlington, VA area. Catie graduated in May of 2020 from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia, with a dual Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance and Music Theatre. Catie currently serves as the soprano section leader at Christ Lutheran Church in DC, and recently directed a concert performance of Jason Robert Brown's "The Last Five Years" with the Chameleon Theater Collective. Catie's notable performance credits include Deb in "Ordinary Days" with the Chameleon Theater Collective," Lana in "On National Road," an original musical in Ellicott City, Maryland, Phoebe in "Romance Ship," with Pinky Swear Productions. Catie is always looking for chances to strengthen her craft and to create art which is meaningful. In the lesson room, Catie focuses on script analysis and vocal health and longevity. Catie's teaching style fosters a supportive and personalized atmosphere wherein students can feel truly heard.
